is a grafted high polymeric polysaccharide based.
TeknoGel
is a colloidal stabilizer, suspender and viscofying
agent of a very high order, much superior to contemporary
products based on vegetable gums, alginates and CMC.
TeknoGel
serves as an ideal substitute for products like Hydroxy
Ethyl Cellulose, Sodium CMC, etc. It’s Ecofriendly
& More stable even for prolonged storage of the
finished product. TeknoGel serves as better viscosity
modifier & colloidal stabilizer in Interior &
Exterior Paints, Velvet Paints, Cement Paints, Wet Wall
Putty, Acrylic Paints & Distempers.

imparts excellent color uniformity through control
of flooding & floating.

TeknoGel
series are compatible with synthetic resin dispersions
such as Polyvinyl Acetate, Polyvinyl propionate, Poly-acrylic
emulsion and with polar solvents such as Methanol /
Ethanol, Glycerin / Sorbitol and Propylene Glycol.

Is compatible with anionic/non-ionic surface-active
agents.

Retains Thixotropic properties the best between pH
3 to 11.

Reduces syneresis.

Enhances Recoatability.

Imparts enhanced wash and scrub resistance.

Solution does not have any bittiness.
Application
of TeknoGel: Recommended percentage of 0.2 -
1%. However, desired change in percentage usage will have
to be made depending on the formulate requirement.
Preparation of TeknoGel Solution: Stir
gradually into water with constant stirring to avoid agglomerates
and allow smooth swelling. Consequently, stir at high
speed till the maximum viscosity is achieved. Add the
usual additives & pigments. |
